Scope of Cloud Research list
The Cloud research mailing list aims to strengthen the communication and co-operation in cloud research. Especially research on the relation between clouds and climate. This includes a broad range of topics:
- remote sensing and in situ measurements,
- theoretical studies and
- (dynamical) modelling.
At the moment there are 170 scientists on the list, maily working on measurements of clouds and on combining measurements with cloud modelling.Suggested uses of the list are:
- Announcements of conferences;
- Job opportunities;
- New projects started;
- Publication of new data sets;
- Requests for data, information, and cooperation partners;
The easy way to subscribe or unsubscribe is to send me a mail: Victor.Venema@uni-bonn.de.
The administration of the list is performed by a mail robot, which you can reach by sending mails to the address:
To (un)subscribe send a mail with the command
in the body of the mail. No subject needed. Please remove your signature if you have any, or set an minus at the beginning of a line after the commands; it will also work with a signature, but the mail robot will send you a bunch or rubish, trying to interpret the signature as commands.
For more information just send the command help to Majordomo@listserv.uni-bonn.de.
Only people who are on the list can send mail to the list. So please check whether the address, with which you subscribe is also the one you use for sending mail.
If you have any questions about the list you can always mail me: Victor.Venema@uni-bonn.de .
